Florida Palm Trees
The most common palm tree in Florida is the Florida Palmetto (Cabbage Palm). It occurs from North Carolina to the Florida Kews. Florida Palmetto grows everywhere in the Sunshine State. It can be seen everywhere: on coasts, streets, landscapes, marshes…Florida palmetto is easily recognizable for its booty trunk and large costapalmate leaves that emerge from the trunk.
The Washington palm is another popular palm tree of Florida. Probable it is the tallest palm in the Sunshine State. Sometimes it is referred as the Hat palm, Mexican palm and Mexican fan palm.
Hardy Palm Trees
Needle palms are the most well known hardy palm trees. They show remarkable resistance to freezing temperatures.

A Royal palm is an aristocratic ornamental tree. It is commonly used in the landscapes of palm tree lovers and enthusiasts. A Royal palm tree is one of the most recognizable palm tres in the world.

Palm trees provide food for people and wildlife. Millions of inhabitants of developing countries and region rely on palm trees. The Date palm and Coconut palm are the most well known palm trees that are the only available staple food for many people.
The hearts of many palm trees are edible, for example, the heart of the Cabbage palm.
Palm Trees have always been my favorite plants. They are very symbolic in many religions. And they extremely are valuable as ornamental plants.
